Capt Dave has spent most of his life on his boat with his fluffy Sea Dog named Paddle. Capt Dave and Paddle have traveled across the Caribbean ... Island hopping ... learning about each Island while meeting many new friends. On a recent voyage between St Thomas and St John, Paddle began barking and pointing to the waves to the ahead of the boat. Capt Dave took out his telescope and scanned the water ... and to his surprise saw a large Blue Parrot floating on his back. Capt Dave and Paddle steered their little boat along side the Parrot ... and pulled him aboard. It was Rummi The Parrot. Rummi had been swimming and got caught in a rip tide ... he knows he should not fight the current, so he just flipped over on this back and began to float. Rummi was so relaxed in the water he had actually fallen asleep ... Lucky for Rummi, Capt Dave and Paddle came to his rescue.

Ever since that day, Capt Dave, Paddle & Rummi have become best friends!
